The Gender Summit 4 - Europe 2014 registration is now open. Hosted at the European Commission Charlemagne Building, the Summit will bring together 400 participants from across Europe and the world to exchange the latest in Gender and STEM policy, research and practice over a packed 2 day programme. This year's event will focus on the cross-cutting role of gender in Horizon 2020 and how gender issues can be addressed in the major themes and topics of the 2014-2015 Work Programme, such as personalised health, water resources, energy, environment, transportation. Reflecting this cross-cutting nature, senior representatives from 3 Directorate Generals of the European Commission feature in the programme, the Joint Research Centre, DG Research & Innovation, and DG Energy. Portia has been the co-convening partner of the Summits, responsible for programme development and conceptual development, since the series started in 2011. The Gender Summits are a series of conferences and events that explore gender in STEM. Find out more at www.gender-summit.com.
